For WhatsApp, detected GIF input is converted to a silent H.264 MP4; client autoplay or looping is not guaranteed. QuickTime/MOV, AVI, MKV and WebM inputs that require native video presentation are normalized to H.264/AAC MP4, including on Telegram. Use documentUrl when the original file bytes must be retained. Converted MMS video is limited to 500 KiB.
